Hi, I'm Emily!
I always identified as a practical person despite having so many little glimmers of what life could truly be like. I thought I had to be someone who went to university, got a job, got married, had kids and retired at 65. For the longest time I wouldn't really allow myself believe that my big dreams could come true. I didn't grow up in a household or even a town where spiritual/mystic practices were shared or talked about. Little did I know where I was being guided.
In 2022, I "stepped" into my first virtual yoga class. I felt a weird remembering, not in the physical poses but the way I was being guided, something I knew without understanding it. I continued to practice yoga inconsistently and ended up taking my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2024 simply because I felt like there was more too it than just Asana (poses). As the curious, lifelong learner I am, I decided to dive head first and attended every workshop and training I could find. During that time I was introduced to crystals, Reiki, energy work, Tarot, Oracle and several other spiritual modalities. That resulted in me taking my Reiki trainings in early 2025. I felt like I had discovered a missing piece - energy.
Summer of 2025, I was having a "Tower" moment (a Tower moment refers to a time in your life where everything is crumbling down that wasn't built on solid foundations - the meaning of "The Tower" card in the Tarot deck). I was grieving the loss of my soul dog, when suddenly I was losing my apartment, my car was totalled, and I found out I was losing my job. This was a life I once dreamed about, the job with a great salary, climbing a ladder someone told me too. I realized I was living out someone else's life, and I was miserable every morning.
The life I had built over 6 years was falling away, and I had a decision to make - was I fighting to stay in what felt "logical" or was I finally going to follow my heart? Following my heart meant moving in with my long distance partner of 6 years in a beautiful small town 5 hours away. While it seems like an obvious choice, I had built community in my city, I had access to so many opportunities, and I had allowed myself to believe other people's version of success. I leaned into my spiritual practices even further to finally gain the courage to make the decision my heart was so sure about. And I did. I stopped making the "logical" choice and started living a life I truly love. I started my business, I travelled to Costa Rica (bucket list moment), I get to live with the person I love most, and I live in a beautiful quiet town with the most gorgeous lake that I can see out of my bedroom window.
That's why I created Find Your Vibrancy, because my goal is to introduce you to the practices I used to finally start making decisions from my heart, so you can live a heart-led, vibrant life too!
